CARDIOLOGY

Several factors contribute to the development of Cardiac Disease. It often begins with elevated blood pressure leading to increased cholesterol levels, potentially resulting in blocked arteries, which could be deadly. In such instances, there’s a risk of sudden chest pain due to inadequate blood flow, leading to a potential cardiac arrest.

If a patient experiences intense chest pain accompanied by numbness on the left side of the upper body, prompt diagnosis is recommended. Diagnostic measures such as ECG and Troponin blood tests can be conducted to assess the situation immediately.

NON INVASIVE DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES:

Electrocardiography (ECG)

Procedure:

It records the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time using electrodes placed on a patient’s body. These electrodes detect the tiny electrical changes on the skin that a rise from the heart muscle depolarizing during each heartbeat.

2 D ECHO:

Echocardiography is an ultrasound examination of the heart that offers crucial insights into its size, shape, pumping capacity, tissue damage, cardiac output, ejection fraction, and diastolic function. Additionally, Electrocardiography can detect abnormalities and cardiomyopathies.

TMT TEST:
Procedure:

Exercise testing, a cardiovascular stress TMT (Treadmill Test) involves physical activity on a treadmill or bicycle, while monitoring electrocardiography(ECG)and blood pressure.
